Here are a few links you may find useful.

Ned May, an artist and computer wizard, developed a program for creating spirals based on the Fibonacci series.  I used his program to create the spirals in a number of my quilts.   Check out his site and the generator:  Custom Fibonacci Spiral Generator .

RaNae Merrill is a New York quilt artist who also designs fabrics.  Her fabrics have excellent value variations, and I have used them in several quilts.  Check them out: RaNae Merrill fabrics .

I belong to two professional quilt associations, both of which offer wonderful benefits to quilt artists:  Studio Art Quilt Associates and
Contemporary QuiltArt Association .  CQA has a blog.

Quilt Art is an active email list with discussions of many topics of interest to art quilters.

Gloderworks designed this web site.  They have been wonderful to work with.

I find inkjet printing fascinating, although I have not yet done much.  The inkjet fabric printing list is an excellent way to get information on the current innovations in printing.
